Teachers that I remember.

Bernard Luke (Headmaster), Kim Temby, Mr. (Pop) Eddy, Mr. Carter, Mr. Kelleher, Mr. Stauasser (not sure of the spelling. We would call him a special needs teacher these days)

I was picked for Mr. Luke's elite P.E. Squad and we were exhibited around the local area at garden fêtes and fairs like a troupe of performing animals while he soaked up the glory. He would also patrol the playground with a cane concealed up the sleeve of his jacket and would produce it with lightning speed and administer a whack at the speed of light. He was probably half Jedi.

"Pop" Eddy had an annoying habit of creeping up on unsuspecting miscreants and smartly cracking then across the ear with a suitably large bunch of keys. The villains were usually subdued by this alternative use of keys.
